At Long Beach Community, we understand that every birth is an event to cherish.After delivering more than 3,600 babies at Long Beach Community each year, we've learned that every birthing experience is unique. That's why New Arrivals offers you a wide variety of birthing options featuring the latest innovations in birthing techniques, from our specially-furnished birthing suites to traditional delivery and recovery rooms.
Our personalized care begins with your New Arrivals consultant, who works with your doctor during your pregnancy. Your consultant can meet with you to discuss your birthing needs, help you make key decisions, advise you of the dates for orientation tours, and help you select appropriate prenatal and postpartum classes. Most importantly, your consultant is available to answer all of your questions. By the time your special moment arrives, you'll be ready for a great birth day.

Our special touches add cheer to your birth experience.In addition to your New Arrivals consultant, Long Beach Community gives you many other special features to make your birth experience as joyful as possible. You'll get a pregnancy calendar so that you may chart your progress throughout your pregnancy.
After your delivery, your calendar will become a treasured diary of your pregnancy. We offer you a "Papa Pager" so that the father-to-be will always be just a phone call away. You'll also be pre-registered so that when you're in labor, you'll bypass admission and go straight to the Family-Centered Maternity Care Center. When you go home with your baby, your special dietary needs will be met with our "New Mom Menu" prepared by nutritionists. We also offer a full range of education classes to help you and your family before and after the birth of your baby. These special features will make your birthing experience a little more enjoyable.

There's no place like home. But, the Family-Centered Maternity Care Center is as close as you can get.We want to help you make your pregnancy as comfortable and meaningful as possible. We also encourage you to share your joy with those you love both before and after your delivery. That's why mother, father, siblings, and other loved ones are invited to welcome your baby with you at New Arrivals, if you so choose. You will be given a lovely room, and we make it easy for family members and loved ones to spend quality time with you and your baby in a warm, loving, home-like atmosphere. When your baby is not rooming-in with you, you can rest comfortably knowing that he or she is receiving constant, personalized care.
