The Health Management Center of Long Beach Community Medical Center opened its Asthma Clinic and Diabetes Clinic on April 29, 1998. Due to the successful results of its Coumadin Clinic, the Medical Center has expanded its services to include asthma and diabetes. Long Beach Community Medical Center has opened a new family clinic, The Family Clinic of Long Beach Community Medical Center, and the Health Management Center, which features a Coumadin clinic, Asthma clinic, and Diabetes clinic. The updated locations for these clinics, departments in the former Business Office location, and other LBCMC departments are identified.
The Family Clinic of Long Beach Community Medical Center opened its doors to the Long Beach community in February, 1998. It is located in Admiral Kidd Park, at 2125 Santa Fe Avenue, Long Beach, CA 90810, (562) 498-9647, and serves the medical needs of West Long Beach. Service hours are: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Medi-Cal, Medicare, HMOs, PPOs, and most insurance plans are accepted. Staff is fluent in English, Spanish, and Tagalog. Walk-ins are welcome!
